Fish oil are renowned to provide our bodies with the almighty Omega-3 fatty acids: EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). As most of us know, these oils are very important for its vitamins and anti-inflammatory properties.
Note: As opposed to Algae Oil, Fish oil has the benefit of providing both DHA and EPA, as opposed to only DHA.
Fish oil comes from a multitude of fish which includes cod, herring, tuna and other deep-sea oily fish whereas cod liver oil comes exclusively from the liver of cod (duh!). Although rich in omega-3 fatty acids, cod liver oil has less EPA & DHA than fish oil, but has added vitamin A & D.
I particularly sourced this oil from the Dutch brand, Royal Green, since I have been using their products for years and am convinced of their quality. More importantly, the have a "Friend of the Sea" certificate which ensures that the fish used for the product are not over-fished in order to ensure an ecological and sustainable production process.
Royal Green's fish oil oméga 3 is a product of the Netherlands which is:
1 fish oil capsule per day, preferably with a meal
